Sometimes truth is more beautiful than fiction, and the bald facts more appealing than all the poetry in the world. Which is perhaps why these crayon labels featuring the name of the actual chemical used to give each crayon its special shade appeal to me even more than Crayola's standard color names. (Though I'll admit, "Inchworm" and "Mauvelous" are pretty evocative, too.)
