Imagine you've had a long, long day.

I know, just bear with me.

Imagine you've had a long, long day, and you get home after dark, and all you want to do is crawl into a comfy bed and sleep for the next twelve hours. Now imagine your bedroom. Perhaps you have painted tall, gentle conifers on the walls, to give yourself the illusion of being in the forest. Perhaps you have a fluffy flannel sleeping bag fresh from the dryer on your bed, to make you feel like you're camping in all the best ways. Perhaps you have one of those small fountains in your room, to lend the sound of a brook close by while you dream. Perhaps there's a fan blowing in the room, to replicate a quiet breeze blowing through the trees and making them go shush-shush in the night.

Now imagine that the corners of your room are filled with small, glowing mushrooms, some in amber, some in blue, and the setting at once becomes a fairytale. And that is why these LED mushroom lights on reclaimed wood had to be invented by someone. I feel like they've been a part of my subconscious for ages.

These are created by The Great Mushrooming -- site is in Japanese only. Please see links for photos galore!

Haha I absolutely love this. Those mushrooms are just the sort of think I would have in my house!
