BY LAND OF MUSIC

I don't know French. I can't understand what Emily is saying. But she emotes. Something in the vast swathes of beach, the lilt of her gaze, yes, just there, I can UNDERSTAND HER. I am in her special fairyland place you can only see through rocks with holes in them. I imagine she is saying things made of pure crystalline beauty, with jaw-dropping metaphors that make you re-envision the world.

If you know French, do not dissuade me of this notion.

No need to understand French. Her lyrics are as exactly as you describe. She's truly lovely. Have you tried listening to Fip radio? Streamed radio out of Paris. They play an excellent mix of music, and is where I first heard Loizeau. P.S. 'L'oiseau' in French means the bird.

Love her voice, whatever she's sayin'... something like "the other end of the world". Love the music as well, fits the mood of the song. Love this freakin' blog too, I link to it a few times a week. Keep up the radness.
