I think Kimya Dawson and I would be good friends. We could go shopping for scarves even though it's warm, ride bicycles, and give each other high fives when one of us says something particularly clever. Her lyrics are strong and smart, and her voice lends a beautiful tenderness to every song (whether it be about war, death, or childhood heroes turned sexual offenders). Oh yeah, she was originally in The Moldy Peaches. Double oh yeah, her and her fellow just had an adorable little baby! Stop by her myspace to befriend and congratulate her. Kimya Dawson rocks! The "I Like Giants" track is just incredible.
