So, whilst eating my vegan french toast this morning, I thought, "Oh man, this is delicious! I love vegan french toast!" Then, I tried to think of what to post for you guys today and was stumped. THEN, I was sipping my fantastic soy mocha and thought, "Jeeze, this is delicious as well. I love soy mochas!" So, a light bulb went off in my noggin and I decided that today I would just post about something I really love. Since I'm trying to avoid burning you guys out on The Mountain Goats, today I bring you...The Talking Heads! Some of you may be thinking, "Pfft, why bother? Who doesn't love Talking Heads already?" Well let me tell you something friends, you would be shocked, shocked at the amount of times I've heard people say they either "don't know much of their stuff", "never got into them", or so on and so forth. No more! Listen, learn to love, or fall in love all over again.

Thank you so much for posting songs I didn't know about but now can't live without. Whenever work drags me down I put on 'Start Wearing Purple' and dance around the office, and screw the people who stare! And now I can't stop replaying 'These boots were made for walking' cover. They seem to enjoy singing it so much!
Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!

I've been searching for that Arcade Fire cover ever since I learned it existed out there in the universe. Just another reason the Fabulist is basically identical to my mind.

That cover by Bishop Allen is kind of flaccid. I don't get the appeal of that bend though. The Faint do a much better job with the song. Go find it, you'll see!

Thanks so much. I am an old Heads fan but only recently came back to listen again. "I Wish You Wouldn't Say That" just makes me grin.
