Went to Paris and forgot your camera? No problem. Never been to Paris and want to retrieve all those precious memories you never had? Still not a problem.

This is one of the neatest things I've seen in a while: Up To You is selling a little "disposable camera that contains 27 undeveloped souvenir shots of Paris photographed by up-and-coming artists (every camera is different.)"

I wish people started whole clubs based around this. Artists, camera hobbyists and fotografia professionals could wander around on their vacations or in their hometowns, and just fill a camera. Send it to each other, to someone else in the club, or a random stranger in the phone book. They could be passed out at street corners. They could be left in dispensers labeled "Anywhere But Here." Who's with me? We could call it Auto-Flash Mob.

Auto-Flash Mob added to my TODO list:

  • Buy disposable camera (maybe a Lomo fish-eye?)

  • Snap off 1-3 interesting shots

  • Hand-off or mail to friend with instructions to do the same

  • Wait a couple of months

  • Recieve spent camera for developing

  • Post photos
