BY LAND OF MUSIC
I woke up this morning to find one of my close friends had gifted me with a mixtape. I love it when friends give me their favorite music: here are the songs that hold the evocation of my precious memories. Isn't that beautiful? I've been listening to them all day. You should check out his site, too.

Here's what's on heavy rotation at midnight on a Thursday.

Dresden Dolls - Sing

Antony and The Johnsons - Hope There's Someone

Snow Patrol - Set The Fire To The Third Bar

Nouvelle Vague - Too Drunk To Fuck

Did we mention we like comments?

Gary Lightbody, vocalist/lyricist of Snow Patrol, appears to be one of Neil Gaiman's small army of clones.

Consider:
* Gary Lightbody was born in 1977.
* In 1977, Neil sang and played bass in a punk band.

COINCIDENCE?!?!

Do you have the Martha Wainwright version of Third Bar, or the just-SP version? The collaborative one is exceptional.

You know, I didn't even realize that was Martha Wainwright. Her voice is lovely... do you know where I would find the solo version?

(And Dan. I think he's probably a time-travelling alien, for whatever it's worth. :) )

I'm not sure mere time-traveling would cut it, though it might explain how he seems to rapidly age while on reading tours and then revert to his younger, seemingly-ageless self a month or so after they're over.

Nah, can't be a clone or a time traveller. Not unless Gaiman can grow and shrink at will. They're probably six inches different in height.
