"The Trapeze Swinger" has been accurately described, by a friend that I gave it to, as "the most heartbreakingly beautiful song you'll ever hear". It's true. Listen to it and tell me you don't die a little bit inside (in a good way....I think).

Sam Beam, also known as Iron and Wine, has a gift. Everything he touches, every word he sings, and every note he plays is so purely gorgeous, you're not even sure how it's possible.

Now that I'm done talking him up, here is "The Trapeze Swinger" and 2 more of my favorite tracks from Iron and Wine's NPR session on All Songs Considered. I have to go cry now.

The Trapeze Swinger - Iron and Wine

Cinder and Smoke - Iron and Wine

An Angry Blade - Iron and Wine
