Tír na nÓg is a well-known Otherworld in Celtic mythology, in English meaning "The Land of Eternal Youth." "Tir Nan Og," the video here, is a breathtakingly beautiful animated video short made by French artist (and musician!) Fursy Teyssier.

Within the span of four minutes, he explores the concepts of death and dealing with the loss of a loved one gently and tenderly, using barely a word of dialogue. I especially love the sweet way the older woman and young girl interact, and the way the ravens sound as they're flapping their wings.

I love Tir Nan Nog. I'm not going to watch it though, I mostly just come here to read your words. And those are three of the best. Thanks.

(see Into the West if you haven't, its Tir Nan Nog and little Irish boys and Gabriel Bryne looking stern.)
