I'm not sure what's happening over there in Sweden, but whatever it is, I like it. Between Lykke Li and Jose Gonzalez and The Knife and Promise and the Monster and who knows WHO else, exciting new music is pouring out of that country like a torrential cascade of snow and sunshine and sweetness and sadness. And this song and this video from Promise and the Monster are haunting and beautiful and somehow so immediate, so identifiable. And what a voice!
