strawberry hubba bubba all the way! The first bubblegum I learnt to blow bubbles with, two days before I got my braces and wasn't allowed to anymore :(

Not a big bubble gum fan ... whatever it is I think I see becomes a Tootsie Roll to me. Can't go wrong with a Tootsie Roll or Tootsie Pop.

That gum you usd to get with five balls in the packet, where four were normal and one tasted horrific.
It was called Shocker something-or-other, I think.

If I had to go with bubble gum, it would be either Fruit Stripe or, back when I was a kid playing little league baseball, there was a Gatorade gum that was pretty cool, but has since disappeared.

Oops... I goofed, thought my first (Tootsie Roll) comment didn't post, remembered gum I liked as a child, then somehow posted the comment twice. Sorry for the comment clutter.

I love dentyne.

My bubblegum taste is ever evolving, but the most memorable for me is Bubble Yum, when it came out (yes revealing my age here) it was so popular that most stores were constantly sold out, and kids were selling individual pieces for $1 and up at my school....and it was still worth it, a mouthful of soft-yummy-bubble-blowing goodness!

Any flavor of Bubble Yum!

Hello Kitty gum. Tastes weird but it looks pretty.

Posted by: Jasmine G at June 24, 2008 06:07 PM

I'm going to go with Bazooka Joe. It's so wonderful and cheap. You can only chew it about 60 times...then the NOM factor is gone. :D

Easily Fruitstripe
I remember being so excited for that stuff when I was a kid and I used to trade the tattoos with my older sister. I bought a pack the other day(its become ridiculously hard to find now) and reminisced. Sorry Proust, Fruitstripe beats Madeleines any day.
I also realized its flavor, while intense, lasts all of two minutes of furious chewing.

Either that or this awesome French candy called Carambar: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Carambar
These are amazing. Especially the atomic ones. I had a friend bring some back for me when I was younger.. god I miss those

Skittles bubblegum = Best. Gum. Ever.

Posted by: sara at June 25, 2008 11:33 AM

I have fond, FOND memories of Bubble Tape and fishing with my grandfather. It was the only time I was allowed gum. Once I ate the entire six feet in one sitting and had to deal with a sore jaw for like a week afterwards. Haha, go youth! Anyway, Bubble Tape. Snappy Strawberry if we're going be specific about things. :)

Bubble gum ice cream! Even though it always gets stuck in your teeth. I think a sign of tasty gum is when it gets everywhere, it just needs the exposure! Also bubble tape, I used to fall asleep chewing the roll....it lead to a lot of wonky haircuts.

Not a huge bubble gum fan, MAMBA or Bonkers, don't think they make Bonkers anymore though :(

I love old fashion gumballs! They come in a rainbow of colors and there are so many cool gumball machines now a days! Like the one with a huge spiral slide for the gumball... Too cool!

Mmm, I was in love with Fruit Stripe gum as a kid. The packaging is so cute and bright! Adorable and delicious.
